The Dylan Ke Scholarship Award was established in 2020 by the Ke Family in memory of their son Dylan. The Scholarship was created to help student athletes succeed academically and athletically.
Dylan Ke started playing with OC Dream in the 5th grade and continued with us into high school. He was part of our first ever boys AAU team. As a kid Dylan was always the last kid to leave the gym and he was determined to be a great player. The older he got he became more competitive and always pushed his teammates to be better. He truly loved Basketball.
Dylan Ke passed away on May 13th 2020 at the age of 18 years old. Although he left us too soon, he will always be remembered in our hearts and in the Orange Gym. The Ke family has been a part of our program for a long time. His sister Alyssa has played with us for years, his Mom Joan is a fixture at our games, and his father Coach Dan continues to help kids in our program.
This Scholarship is a wonderful way to honor Dylan's memory and for his life to continue making a difference in the community and in the sport he so loved.
